Watermelon Spritzer

Watermelon is a fantastic summer fruit. Personally, I like to sprinkle a little salt onto my watermelon!

This drink is refreshing but not overly sweet. My measurements are also more like "guidelines". You can add more lime juice if you want, or more Sprite as well. Make it your own and enjoy!

How to Make Watermelon Spritzer

Take the watermelon and put it into a blender. Blend it until it is completely liquified. Pour this through a strainer into a large pitcher.

Juice the limes, and add them to the pitcher. Pour it through the strainer as well.

Add the sugar (which can be optional, depending on your preference level of sweetness), and stir it to combine.

Top off the pitcher with Sprite (or any lemon lime soda).

Pour into glasses with ice. If you want, you can add sugar to the rim of the glass. Before you add ice, take a lime wedge and run it along the rim of the glass, then dip it into a shallow bowl of sugar. Add your ice and drink after that. You can also garnish your drink with a lime wedge and watermelon slice.

Store it in the fridge, and the watermelon will settle so you will want tot give it a good stir before serving it.

This Watermelon Spritzer is an easy and refreshing drink to beat the hot summer days!
