Reese's Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

My favorite candy is hands down a Reese’s. I would eat them all the time if I could! And does anyone else agree that the holiday shaped Reese’s (trees, eggs, etc) are the superior Reese’s?

I decided after seeing it trend on Instagram to make chocolate chip cookies stuffed with a Reese’s. It truly doesn’t get much better than that.

I used my Triple Chocolate Chip recipe and used semi sweet and dark chocolate chips.

How to Make Reese’s Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

The cookie recipe itself is simple to make.

In your mixer, beat the softened butter, softened cream cheese, brown sugar, and sugar together until it lightens in color and looks fluffy.

Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.

Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until is just starts to combine.

Add the chocolate chips- no measurement there, you measure chocolate with your heart.

Put the dough in a bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours. This dough is really soft because of the cream cheese, so refrigerating it will make it easier to work with. It also helps all the ingredients combine together, which in turn makes a chewier, thicker cookie.

After the dough is chilled, take one scoop of dough and flatten it. Add a Reese’s cup to that and form the dough around the Reese’s. Take another half scoop of dough and put it on top so that you have cookie dough completely covering the Reese’s.

Bake at 350 degrees F for about 10-11 minutes. Let them cool,t hen enjoy eating them! And try not to eat the whole batch.
