Once upon a time, when I was working in a bakery, one of my coworkers brought in these treats she called "Polar Bears". I had never heard of them, but was curious.
So I tried one.
And Oh. My. Word.
It was so delicious! I asked her what was in them, and was amazed at how simple these were.
There are only a few ingredients: white chocolate, peanut butter, rice krispies, and mini marshmallows. And let me tell you, they are like little bites of heaven.
I love white chocolate, and use it in my chocolate chip cookie recipe as well!
They are essentially no bake rice krispie cookies. No baking is involved, so they are ready to eat in less than an hour! And you will want to eat all of these rice krispie cookies in one sitting.
So, let me tell you how to make polar bear cookies!
These white chocolate no bake cookies are so easy to make. It is a great recipe to make with kids!
First, you will combine the white chocolate and the peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave it in 15 second intervals until it is completely melted.
Then, you will add the Rice Krispies and the mini marshmallows. Stir it to combine it all together.
Take a spoonful and place on parchment paper, creating your rice krispie cookies!
See how easy that was? It took less than 58 words to explain it (and yes, I did go count the words!)
One variation you can take is substituting almond bark for the white chocolate.
You can substitute the peanut butter for almond butter or any other type of nut butter!
These no bake cookies have 4 ingredients- rice krispies, marshmallows, white chocolate, and peanut butter. Incredibly simple, and incredibly delicious!
