No Churn Vanilla Ice Cream

I love ice cream, and when it’s hot out, it’s the perfect treat to cool down with. I also think that homemade ice cream is the best and wanted to make a recipe that was super easy to make and didn’t require an ice cream maker.

This no churn vanilla ice cream should become a staple in your recipe book. It is so easy to make that even your kids can help you make it. It is also a great base for any type of ice cream you want. You can throw chocolate chips in, or Oreos, or cookie dough!

For now, we are sticking with a simple vanilla ice cream.

How to Make No Churn Vanilla Ice Cream

This recipe only has 4 main ingredients, and one optional one.

Start by whipping the heavy cream to a medium to stiff peak.

Add the sweetened condensed milk and beat it in until it is combined.

Add the vanilla extract (or if you want to be really fancy, use a whole vanilla bean), salt, and the OPTIONAL vodka.

The vodka will help the ice cream stay a little softer.

Stir all of that in to combine.

Pour the mixture into a freezer safe container and put it in the freezer for at least 6 hours.

Scoop and serve and enjoy!
