Ingredients
Peach Filling
- 5 peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- pinch salt
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
Cobbler
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- In a pot, combine the peaches, brown sugar, sugar, salt, and lemon juice to make your peach filling. Heat it over a medium heat until the sugar turns into a liquid and the peaches start to get soft.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and while it is preheating, put the butter in your dish and let it melt in the oven.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and cinnamon, and stir to combine.
- Once the butter has melted, add the batter mixture and stir it in. The butter won't incorporate fully and that's ok.
- Add the peach filling on top, and spread the peaches out.
- Bake for about 40 minutes.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
