Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These cookie are soft, chewy, and full of cinnamon flavor to compliment the oats and raisins! You won't be able to eat just one!

Ingredients

  • 6 oz butter softened
  • 2 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 cups quick cook Oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, and sugar together until it is well mixed. It will be a pale yellow and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla, mix until it is combined.
  3. Add all of the dry ingredients- flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Mix until it is just combined.
  4. Add the oats and raisins and mix until combined.
  5. Scoop or weigh 1 ounce portions (or 2 ounce if you want bigger cookies), and bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Cool, and enjoy!
