Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • mini semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, cream cheese, sugar, and brown sugar together on high speed until it lightens in color and is smooth.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda until it is all combined.
  4. Add the milk chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips, mix to combine.
  5. Wrap the cookie dough in plastic wrap, and put in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  6. Divide the cookie dough into 2 ounce portions (or a large cookie scoop). Roll them in the mini semi sweet chocolate chips. Place on a sheet tray and flatten.
  7. Bake them at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Allow them to cool, then enjoy!

Notes

If you want to make smaller cookies, weigh them out into 1 ounce portions, and bake for 8-10 minutes instead. You will get about 32 cookies this size.
