Apple Spice Muffins

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1-2 apples, peeled and small diced
Cinnamon Streusel Topping
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine the melted butter and brown sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla.
- Add all of the dry ingredients, applesauce, and milk.
- Fold in the apples.
- Line the muffin pan in every other cup, and fill each baking cup to the top with muffin batter.
- In a small bowl, combine all the streusel ingredients until it becomes a crumble texture.
- Sprinkle on top of each muffin.
- Bake at 425 degrees F for 5 minutes, then lower the temperature to 375 degrees F for 15 minutes.
- Allow them to cool, and enjoy!
